Your free standing bath
Our free standing bath is designed to present eye-catching style with distinction, given space. This can often be created by taking out a cupboard or a wall.
The rectangular Elysia is our most distinctive free standing bath with its elegant bowed front, angled sides, and the introduction of a shallow seat, with a comfortable curved back and head rest, at each end - it is a fact, ignored by conventional bath makers, that a seated bather is more comfortable if the posterior is higher than the feet! The Elysia is also available as an Inset (see our Inset / undermount bath tubs section).
The Artesia free standing bath, the Elysia and the Osbourne are all double ended. The Elysia and the Artesia both offer options of plain rims, or the rear rim with a tap deck. The Osboume is the modern equivalent of the traditional Victorian cast iron bath. It has a flat back to allow it to stand against a wall. All the others are literally 'Free standing' and the inner bowl and outer body are one integral piece.
The oval Artesia bath is available not only with a choice of rims but the option of with or without the plinth. The iconic single ended Pleasance & Pleasance Plus is the modem version of a "Slipper" free standing bath. The Pleasance Plus is the longer version having originated in requests for that from the Pleasance. Both have a shallow seat with curved back. The distinctive squared rim edges cannot be reproduced in other bath materials than our unique proprietary composite, FICORE. The many advantages of this over standard bath materials are detailed under 'The Bath Reinvented'.
Any free standing bath requires an extended waste/overflow which can be built in literally any colour and a detailed specification sheet for each is behind its individual large image. All are deeper than a standard bath.
