FICORE® - The Bath Reinvented

Ficore was the first material ever developed specifically for baths. Design & Form Ltd – Cabuchon Bathforms’ parent company – twenty years ago set out to develop a material which both overcame the disadvantages and limitations of conventional materials and brought additional benefits.

The result is Ficore. It is a solid composite, not laminate, and its various components are fused together in the manufacturing process and it has a number of clear advantages/benefits over standard bath materials. For instance:

DESIGN BENEFITS: Because of their integral strength baths made from Ficore need no metal or wooden supports, reinforcements, or chassis. It will not shift, creak or give.

Ficore permits more sharply defined details and tighter angles – for instance the sculptured rim of the Octavia or the Palladian and the right-angled rim edges of the Pleasance, or the rectangle's detail trim on panels.

Ficore can be made in literally any colour.

COMFORT BENEFITS: Ficore’s insulating qualities keep the water hot six to twelve times longer than the various standard bath materials. Its tactile surface remains warm to the touch, unlike enamelled cast iron, steel, or acrylic.

DURABILITY: Ficore’s hard surface means that it can be kept clean of normal dirt and grease easily. It is resistant to scratches and less likely to be damaged by hard surfaces dropped on it. Hard water stains are easily removed because they can only be superficial.

It is resistant to most chemicals – whether acid or alkaline, including lime scale remover. Its surface will withstand long-term immersion in water.

In the event of damage it is capable of repairable as new.

It is resistant to cigarette burns.

It is guaranteed for 25 years.

In sum, it is longer life and better performance for your investment.

THE BATH IS REINVENTED.
